Our Story
Livefarm was founded to solve a simple but widespread problem in agriculture: critical farm data was scattered across paper maps, spreadsheets, lab reports, and endless phone calls. This fragmentation created inefficiency, compliance risks, and made it harder for farmers and advisors to make good decisions.
Founder & Wicklow man, Mark Connolly, brought a unique perspective to the challenge. With a farming background and over a decade of international experience in geophysics, quality assurance, and geotech start-ups, he had seen how precision, data integrity, and collaboration could transform entire industries.
Returning to Ireland, he set out to apply those lessons to agriculture — with a clear focus on sustainability and productivity.What began with soil quickly expanded. Livefarm is now building the shared digital backbone for agriculture — a platform that connects farmers, advisors, and service providers, turns disconnected data into trusted insight, and supports farming that is environmentally, socially, culturally, and economically sustainable.
